How the cutting plan works

The optimiser sorts your cuts longest-first and packs them into standard rods (First Fit Decreasing — the same approach steel fabricators use), so short pieces fill the gaps left by long ones instead of starting fresh rods. Cuts longer than the standard bar are split automatically with a 45×diameter lap allowance, per IS 456 practice.
